Thanks so much ... what great fun Michele's song challenge was ... so enjoyed listening to all the links! Congratulations to everyone! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats to our winners, but also to everyone who joined in this week! Your 'voices' were sweet, and fun to sing along with! Janet, and Carol, you will receive your little prizes soon!
ReplyDelete=] p.s. to Bobby... PLEASE tell us your song!!!
Thanks so much! This was great fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat an honour to see my card standing alongside those of Christine, Cornelia, Anita, Elizabeth and Bobby! THANK YOU! And double joy, deep in my heart, *grin*, that I guessed Michele's song! My blog will sport the badge proudly. To all the MUSE players: your inspiration is amazing!

How exciting to see my card on spot #2 despite my fail to pick a song...Thank you for voting for my card! Now my choice was For Elise by Beethoven. Yes, he never married and was grumpy. He was in love with a married woman named Antonie Brentano. This was chronicled in the movie "Immortal Beloved" - a fun movie if you are looking for something to watch!
ReplyDeleteI'm shocked that my card made honorable mention for Michele's fun song challenge. Thanks all who voted for me. Now for the reveal. I couldn't find a decent audio so here are the lyrics to my song which is an old Scout song that I probably learned from my Dad eons ago.
ReplyDeleteBill Grogan's goat Was feeling fine,
Ate six red shirts right off the line.
Bill took a stick, gave him a whack,
And tied him to the railroad track.
The whistle blew, the train drew nigh,
Bill Grogan's goat Was doomed to die.
He gave three groans of awful pain,
Coughed up the shirts and flagged the train.
